Meetings, conferences, workshops and events

The Thiel Gallery offers spaces for creative meetings in memorable surroundings. Here we help you to arrange unique and personal workshops, board meetings, receptions or seminars where the atmospheric environment is part of the experience. The tasteful space consists of one larger meeting room with comfortable furniture and technical equipment*, smaller rooms for group exercises and a kitchen. Giving you the possibility to vary the types of meetings throughout the day and to enjoy the nature of Djurgården, explore the architecture and the sculpture park during the breaks.

The conference space is adapted to groups of about 15 people and is situated in the beautifully located Annex that used to house the staff of the Thiels. Just like the museum the Annex is designed by the famous architect Ferdinand Boberg. The furniture in the venue is designed especially for The Thiel Gallery by Kerstin Olby/Olby Design.

Free entrance to the museum is included for all participants, but we suggest to also consider booking  a tailored guided tour for your group. You can choose what works best for you and your group – a shorter introduction or a more in-depth presentation of the permanent collection and/or the current exhibition on show. The café in the museum is run by the food creator and cookbook author Monika Ahlberg and offers appetizing lunches and sweet refreshments. The meeting day can also finish with unique dinner arrangements. Reach out to us to hear more.
